Season 4[]

Alma and Dickie visit the Onyx Club in Atlantic City to audition an act for the owner Chalky White. Alma is attracted to Chalky's associate Dunn Purnsley and slips him an explicit drawing to suggest a rendezvous. Dunn takes her to a North Side hotel where they begin to have sex. Dickie surprises them and forces a horrified Dunn to continue at gunpoint as he masturbates. As the cuckolding continues, Dickie's racial taunts enrage Dunn and he knocks the gun away before stabbing Dickie to death with a broken bottle. Terrified, Alma escapes through the window. ("New York Sour")

Alma contacts Dr Narcisse and claims that Dunn murdered Dickie and raped her. Narcisse uses the information to leverage a partnership in the Onyx Club. He brings Alma with him on his return trip to New York. Alma is disappointed that Dunn was not punished for his actions. He sees through her lie and openly states his disgust at her mixed race proclivities. He stops the car and has his men strangle Alma to death, dumping her body on a construction site.
