Glenmore (played by Bill Camp) is a hunter who camps in the woods of New Jersey. He meets Richard Harrow in the woods when Harrow has his mask stolen by a dog. Glenmore brings Harrow back to his camp and introduces him to his friend Pete. Glenmore has never visited Atlantic City and considers 30 miles too far to travel. He is well spoken and considers Pete "easily bamboozled". He gives Harrow the parting advice that the woods are for living in.
