Harry Bacharach is an Atlantic City politician. Bacharach is the Mayor of Atlantic City until late 1920 and is played by John Rue.
Bacharach has been a local politician for several years. He is a republican and the elected Mayor of Atlantic City. He is part of Treasurer Nucky Thompson's organisation. He has a reputation for being ineffectual.
With the dawn of prohibition Nucky assembles his organisation for a dinner at Babette's Supper Club and explains that they are about to get in to bootlegging. Bacarach and his colleagues greet the announcement with cheers and applause. ("Boardwalk Empire")
Bacharach loses the Mayor position when Edward Bader is elected in his place.
