Homicide: Life on the Street was a 1990s NBC police drama set and filmed in Baltimore, Massachusetts. The series was created by Paul Attansio based on the book by David Simon. It follows the cases of a squad of homicide detectives. It shares several cast and crew members with Boardwalk Empire.
