Hymie Weiss, born Henry Earl J. Wojciechowski, is a character in the third season of Boardwalk Empire. He is played by co-star Will Janowitz and based on the historical figure of the same name.
Hymie Weiss is a Polish-American petty criminal and gangster from Chicago's North Side and an ally to Dean O'Banion. He is Roman Catholic, despite his Jewish-sounding nickname.
