A Judge, played by co-star Ian Stuart, is a supporting character in "To the Lost". He presides over the trial of Nucky Thompson on multiple charges including election rigging and the murder of Hans Schroeder. He grants the motion of Bill Fallon requesting a mistrial when several witnesses recant their testimony. He encourages Assistant US Attorney Esther Randolph to accept the decision now before jeopardy is attached and to take the time to reorder her case in the hopes of retrying Nucky. He grants the request of Douglas Wallbridge for his client Eli Thompson to be released. He denies the request of Ray Halloran' attorney for Halloran's release given that Halloran has confessed to the murder of Hans Schroeder and remands Halloran to Leaven Worth Penitentiary, Kansas.
