Patrick McDonald is an American motion picture assistant director (AD). He is an AD for Boardwalk Empire. He has worked on the first, second, and third seasons. He was a second second AD for the series pilot "Boardwalk Empire" but did not work on the rest of the first season. He was a second second AD for the odd numbered episodes of the second season. The was promoted to second AD for the third season. He has been active since 2000 and has also worked on the films Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004), We Own the Night (2007), Salt (2010), and The Adjustment Bureau (2011).
